The Simonsen Foundation is a nonprofit organization that honors the life and legacy of NYPD Detective Brian "Smiles" Simonsen. A life cut short but who's legacy lives on through this foundation.
What We Do
Through our gala, golf outing and merchandise we are able to give college scholarships to graduating seniors from Riverhead High School as well as financial assistance to families and businesses in our community that are in need. We have also assisted in vesting Police K9 dogs and are expanding in assisting animal rescues. We will never forget the Queens community who loved Brian so much and in the coming months there will be a very special announcement benefiting those amazing people.
